Research Interests
Quantum Liquids and Solids
- Frustrated magnetism (quantum spin liquid, ring exchange interaction)
- New quantum phases (quantum liquid crystal, supersolid, liquefaction of 3He in 2D)
- Superfluidity (unconventional BCS state and superfluidity in monolayer He)
Nanoscience and Topological Materials
- Graphene (zigzag edge state, quantum Hall effect, band gap engineering)
- Carbon nanotube (Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid)
Superconductivity
- Possible superconductivity of dopants under effective high pressure environments in Carbon Nanotubes
- New mechanism for high temperature superconductivity
